How I Met Your Mother - 419
I really don't follow that many TV shows because... well, I definitely think commercials are a waste of life, and I'm really too lazy to go downstairs to watch them, even though sometimes you catch a glimpse of what you actually set out to watch. I recently dropped Heroes because it felt too perfunctory. I have lost sympathy for all the characters and really can't care less for their life struggles. It was such a good show with potential and intrigue, and now it just doesn't know what to do with itself.
But this is about How I Met Your Mother. The quality and the quirkiness of the show has not diminished in its 4th season. In fact, it's rather surprising that it has stayed good for as long as it has. The show has a lot of personality and has produced quite a number of catchphrases (legen-wait for it-dary, suit up, just to name a few... mostly produced by on Barney Stinson, come to think of it). The episode today is about The Murtaugh List, a list of things you are too old for, like pulling an all-nighter or crashing on a friend's futon or... well, why don't you just watch the show. And all the previous 3 seasons, while you are at it.
Honestly, I really have to congratulate the show for holding my attention for as long as it has.
